⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠Stephen King’s Pennywise is back – and more terrifying than ever before thanks to a nuanced performance from Bill Skarsgard and the skilled hands of director Andy Muschietti.
IT takes place during the summer of 1989 in the fictional town of Derry, Maine. Though the film is satisfyingly scary, it’s the kids who really steal the show here. “It” does capture the spirit of the book, and especially its metaphor for coming together as a group to combat evil.
